So many things come to mind. Happy that I am with Mum and Dad. Happy to see old places and new ones too. Saw some old friends will see more this weekend. Some mixed feelings. Best things: Mum and Dad and FOOD! Biggest letdown: people. Gray, sad and with permanent scowl on their faces. Rarely you see somebody with smile on their faces. Fucking crazy drivers! Every time you cross a street your life is in danger!
Street fashion.
Tight clothing is in. Girls and females of all ages are in a variety of leggings and yoga pants. Regardless of body size. That produces a cornucopia of CTs. In all colors of the rainbow and animal prints.
Guys - skin tight jeans and even tighter soccer shirts. Ever present track suits. Mainly Adidas. Plus running shoes. All mostly cheap knockoffs.
Predominant look: Hipster on a bad acid trip for guys and cheap whore for girls. Lots of costume jewelery and gold chains. With huge crosses too.
And the there is coffee! All Stabuckses of this world have nothing on this place. Coffee is AWESOME, plentiful and cheap. In the next few days I will foray into the restaurant scene. That should be interesting.
